Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck To Have A Huge Marriage Party In Georgia

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck got married in a joyful and informal ceremony at Las Vegas' famed A Little White Wedding Chapel. The power couple is already preparing a lavish wedding reception in Georgia.

Despite having a low-key wedding ceremony in Las Vegas, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are going all out with a grandiose private reception to mark their marriage. According to TMZ insiders, a large party will be planned in the following weeks at Ben’s home in the Georgia beach village of Riceboro. Naturally, family members will be invited, but close friends and celebrities are also expected to travel in to celebrate with the newlyweds.

Jen reportedly visited the residence a few weeks ago with her manager to plan a party. Presumably, Ben was also present. Ben’s property, located an hour outside of Savannah, has 87 acres of land and the main house with three bedrooms, five bathrooms, and 6,000 square feet of living space. According to TMZ, Ben attempted to sell the mansion for roughly $8 million before removing it off the market in 2019. Lopez disclosed in her On the JLo newsletter on Sunday that she and Affleck, 49, are now a married couple.

She wrote in her newsletter, “So with the best witnesses you could ever imagine, a dress from an old movie and a jacket from Ben’s closet, we read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives,” adding that the ceremony was “exactly what we wanted.” She added, “When love is real, the only thing that matters in marriage is one another and the promise we make to love, care, understand, be patient, loving and good to one another. We had that. And so much more. Best night of our lives.”

After rekindling their romance last year, the couple confirmed their engagement in April. Jennifer also shared in her newsletter at the time, “It turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient. Stick around long enough and maybe you’ll find the best moment of your life in a drive-through in Las Vegas at 12:30 in the morning in the tunnel of love drive-through, with your kids and the one you’ll spend forever with. Love is a great thing, maybe the best of things and worth waiting for.”
