Here’s List Of Will Smith Movies Canceled Following Chris Rock Oscars Slap

Upcoming Sony movie Bad Boys 4 and Netflix movie Fast and Loose have now been put on 'pause' as the repercussions of Will's Oscar slap.

Will Smith stunned the world last weekend when he stormed the stage of the Academy Awards and smacked Chris Rock after he made a joke about the actor’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. However, after that shocking smack, a series of Will Smith movies reportedly be canceled after the actor’s violent outburst at the Oscars, with a number of his upcoming projects quietly delayed.

Netflix movie titled Fast and Loose starring Will has been put on a halt after the Oscar slap, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The movie had originally been set to be directed by David Leitch, but he pulled out of the project a week before the Oscars sending Netflix into a heated search for a replacement. But now, in light of Will’s slap-happy actions, the outlet reports, “Soon after Smith’s attack on Chris Rock on the Oscars stage, Netflix quietly moved the project to the back burner.”

The movie was set to tell the story of a crime lord who loses his memory and then tries to rebuild his life but the outlet adds, “It appears that Netflix was understandably wary of moving forward. It is unclear whether it will try to make the project with another star and director.” Meanwhile, TMZ reported that Will’s other Netflix projects, namely The Council and Bright 2 could also be canceled as a consequence of his violent actions.
