Check Out The First Photo Of Cardi B and Offset’s Son And His Name

The latest photos confirmed Cardi's statement on Twitter last month that her baby son bears a striking resemblance to his sister Kulture.

Cardi B first announced the birth of her son on September 6 with a sweet post on Instagram. And after more than six months the rapper and her beau Offset revealed the name of their son, whom they welcomed on September 4. The ‘I Like It’ rapper shared photos of her little one for the first time and announced his name with emojis.

Cardi B took to Instagram to share the snaps of Wave rocking a blue fur coat and massive diamond chain. Offset also introduced Wave to the world with an adorable picture of the infant cutely beaming at someone off-camera, wearing a handful of blinged-out necklaces. Alongside the photo, Offset revealed his son’s name in the caption, that is, “WAVE SET CEPHUS.”

Following the big reveal, Cardi tweeted that Offset was the one who came up with the baby’s name. “When Set suggested Wave, I was sold! THAT HAD TO BE HIS NAME!” she wrote on Twitter alongside a video of a piece of jewellery that spelt out his name. Offset and Cardi have been married since 2017 and also share a three-year-old daughter named Kulture Kiari Cephus. For unversed, Kiari is Offset’s real first name, meaning that both of the babies have middle names derived from their father’s various names.

The latest photos confirmed Cardi’s statement on Twitter last month that her baby son Web Set Cephus bears a striking resemblance to his sister. When a fan asked, “Now that’s he’s 6 months, who does he resemble the most? You or set?” Cardi wrote in reply, ‘Kulture.’ On her Insta Stories this January she claimed that her son, despite only having turned four months old that day, had already begun to talk.

She said, “I’m not exaggerating, this baby is talking. I put this on everything I love in the name of Jesus Christ. Like first of all, my husband saw it.” Cardi dished that she asked the baby, ‘You love Mommy?’ a couple of times and he replied enthusiastically, ‘”Yeah!” Like not even like: “He-he-heh.” It was like, “Yeah!”‘ Cardi has been vague about the reason behind Kulture’s name, revealing on social media only that ‘anything else woulda been basic Okrrrrr.’
