Kalki 2898 AD Teaser: Amitabh Bachchan As ‘Ashwatthama’
During the recent announcement on Sunday, it was disclosed that in “Kalki 2989 AD,” Amitabh Bachchan will portray the character of Ashwatthama. A fresh teaser promo of the movie was unveiled on Star Sports, featuring Amitabh Bachchan.
The 21-second teaser begins with Bachchan, draped in earthy hues, seated in a cave, deep in prayer before a Shiva linga. Amidst a tranquil background of soothing music, a child’s voice softly asks, “Are you immortal? Are you divine? Who are you?”
With mounting intensity, Bachchan’s commanding voice declares, “Throughout the ages, I have awaited the Avatar’s advent. I am the son of Guru Drona. I am Ashwatthama,” he asserts resolutely.
On Sunday, Amitabh Bachchan also shared his thoughts on his experience of working in the film on his X account. He wrote, “It’s been an experience for me like no other. The mind to think such a product, the execution, the exposure to modern technology and above all the company of colleagues with stratospheric Super star presence.”
