Chris Evans reacts to COVID associated statement by Donald Trump, saying the US President just does not care.
Reportedly, Chris Evans called Donald Trump reckless after Trump told his supporters not to be afraid of the novel coronavirus.
Responding to Trump’s announcement about his release from the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center three days after being hospitalised for the treatment of COVID, the Captain America star tweeted, “Don’t be afraid of Covid?! You’ve been under round-the-clock care by the best doctors using the best drugs. Do you really think everyone has access to that?!”
Chris further shared, “Sadly, I’m sure you’re aware of that disparity, you just don’t care. This is reckless to a shocking degree, even for you.”
Meanwhile, in his tweet, Trump had stated that, “Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!”
Before Chris, Lucifer star Tom Ellis took a dig at US President Donald Trump.
Tom took to his social media and shared how he and the team of Lucifer has been wearing safety masks and shields at work throughout the pandemic, and questioned what made the President not follow the same rules.
Sharing his thoughts on social media, Tom wrote, “This is what we have to wear at #lucifer to get back to work as safely as possible during this very real pandemic….and we get tested every day….and we have to social distance…and, as many people like to remind me I’m only an actor. Why would the president who’s in charge of everything not take the same if not more precautions?”
