Despite This Confrontation, Salman Khan And Subhash Ghai Seemed To Have Reconciled Their Differences Over Time

Salman Khan, often a magnet for attention and sometimes labeled as the bad boy of the industry, and also had moments where his temper got the best of him, leading to conflicts. One such incident, involving a purported altercation between filmmaker Subhash Ghai and Salman Khan in 2001.

According to media reports, the confrontation unraveled when Subhash Ghai reportedly made a taunting remark towards Salman Khan, who in turn lost his temper and allegedly slapped him. Although this incident occurred nearly two decades ago, it remained largely unspoken for a long time.

However, Salman Khan himself acknowledged the altercation with Subhash Ghai in an interview with a leading daily, reported by Zoom. He confessed, “I do get emotional. Then I hurt myself. I have banged my head against the wall; I have hurt myself all over. I cannot hurt anyone else. I have only hit Subhash Ghai. Yet, I apologized to him the next day.”

Elaborating further, Salman stated, “There are times when you do get out of control. That person hit me with a spoon, almost broke a plate on my face, pissed on my shoes and grabbed me by the neck. I could not control myself. And see what happened. Next day, I had to go and apologize.”

Despite this confrontation, Salman Khan and Subhash Ghai seemed to have reconciled their differences over time. They even collaborated on the 2008 film “Yuvvraaj,” which also featured Boman Irani, Anil Kapoor, Zayed Khan, and Katrina Kaif. While the film received mixed reviews from critics, it managed to perform well at the box office.

The reemergence of this episode serves as a reminder that even personalities as prominent as Salman Khan have their moments of human frailty, and it highlights the significance of reconciliation and moving forward in the entertainment industry.
