Shah Rukh Khan’s Old Handwritten Letter Goes Viral, Unveils His Acting Journey

Fans And Netizens Alike Celebrated The Resurfacing Of This Letter, With Comments Ranging From "SRK'S Destined For Massive Success

Shah Rukh Khan, often hailed as the “King of Bollywood,” has left fans in awe as an old handwritten letter of his went viral on social media. The heartfelt six-page letter offers a glimpse into SRK’s thoughts on acting and how his journey in the world of cinema began.

Reflecting on his passion for acting, Shah Rukh fondly reminisced, “Back in my school days, I was introduced to acting. I had a knack for mimicking people, and it all started with imitating stars like Hema Malini. Later, I moved on to emulate Dev Anand, Prithvi Raj Kapoor, and Raj Babbar. Speaking of Raj Babbar, I distinctly remember how my interest in acting was ignited. My father owned a series of restaurants in and around Delhi.”

He continued, “I used to frequently visit their mess and watch all the plays. This was during the era of the esteemed director, Mr. Ebrahim Alkazi, alongside talents like Raj Babbar, Rohini Hattangadi, Ajit Vachani, and Surekha Sikri. Those days, around the age of 9 or 10, I used to compose Urdu couplets and, with my dimples, garnered significant attention from these actors and the director. I guess that unconsciously fueled my aspiration to become like them.” He also disclosed that his first role was as Kallu Bania in the school production of “Andher Nagari Chaupat Raja.”

Fans and netizens alike celebrated the resurfacing of this letter, with comments ranging from “SRK’s destined for massive success. You can see the sparks here, and this was when he was only in college” to playful remarks like “First Pages of SRK’s Autobiography leaked!”

One Reddit user pointed out, “Reading this made me realize that he doesn’t put on his charm only when the camera is rolling or through years of experience; he has always been like this, and he still talks like this to this day.” Another admirer expressed, “This man has such a unique personality! I don’t care whether he makes more movies or not. There’s something about him that’s incredibly rare.”

Shah Rukh Khan initially marked his presence on television in 1989 with the serial “Fauji.” He later made his much-celebrated Bollywood debut with “Deewana” in 1992. The handcrafted letter not only provides insights into his early influences but also underscores the enduring charm and charisma that have defined his illustrious career.
