Shah Rukh Khan might portray various characters, but he is best known for portraying the romantic hero onscreen. King Khan has set the bars so high that almost every actress wants to share the screen with the romantic hero of Bollywood. And Vidya Balan is one of them. Do Aur Do Pyaar Actress Vidya Balan expressed her desire to do a love story with the Pathaan actor. Shah Rukh Khan has worked with many actresses, from Kajol, Kareena to Deepika, Aliya etc. But he has never done a love story with Vidya.
Vidya Balan and Shah Rukh Khan worked together, but those were their guest appearances. Vidya shared the screen with Shah Rukh when he made a guest appearance in her movie ‘Heyy Babyy’ and once Vidya appeared as a guest in SRK’s ‘Om Shanti Om’. Recently, in an exclusive interview with India Today, she was asked about the star she would like to cast together for the first time; and she took Shah Rukh’s name. The Bhul Bhulaiyaa actress replied, “I had a very small role in ‘Om Shanti Om.’ But I would want to do a nice love story with him.”
Well, Vidya Balan will meet the audience through a unique love story ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’. She shed light on why she signed Do Aur Do Pyaar, saying, “I was wondering why people aren’t making such films anymore. I am so bored with the content around me. There is too much action. When the film came to me, I loved the idea. I want to be in movies where I am enjoying, and so are my audiences.” The film is releasing tomorrow on April 19. Pratik Gandhi, Illeana D’Cruz and Sendhil Ramamurthy will be seen in prominent roles alongside Vidya.
