Actress and model Urvashi Rautela took to her Instagram this morning and slammed a fan of cricketer Rishabh Pant who was calling her name during Sunrisers Hyderabad-Delhi Capitals match on April 24. She shared a video of the fan where he was seen passing on his message for Rishabh Pant to his Delhi Capitals teammate Axar Patel. While showing his support towards Rishabh Pant, he said that he won’t leave Rautela amid the link-up rumours of the duo, which made headlines during the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.
This video had already gone viral on social media and now, three weeks later, it reached Urvashi when someone tagged her. Urvashi was furious to see how the fan mispronounced her last name repeatedly. Sharing the video, she wrote, “STOP BUTCHERING MY LAST NAME WHICH IS SO PRECIOUS TO ME.. WORDS HAVE MEANING & SURNAMES HAVE POWER & BLESSINGS #IDontLikeIt #notfunny”
In the hashtag, she mentioned that it’s not funny and she doesn’t like it.

Though Urvashi expressed her anger in this post, she herself became the target of trolls. An Internet user pointed out, “Vo kya bol rha hai didi ko us se dikkat nhi hai surname galat bola dikkat ye hai.” Someone else wrote, “Aa gyi fir se ek post krke fame lene…”
Some also made fun of Urvashi Rautela for writing trending hashtags in the end even though she made this post in anger.
