After a spectacular performance in several matches, the Indian cricket team lost the World Cup finale against team Australia on 19th November. Team Australia lifted the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 trophy. After losing the World Cup finale the fans and Team India were left heartbroken. However, to cheer up the team warriors many Bollywood celebrities came out and lauded the cricketers for their handwork and performance throughout the World Cup matches.

Taking to Twitter actor Ajay Devgn wrote, “India, your relentless spirit throughout the championship was a victory in itself… Heads high”. Kajol also took to her Instagram stories and shared a picture of Team India and wrote, “Haarkar jeetne waale ko baazigar kehte hai. Well played Team India. Congratulations Australia on another World Cup. #WorldCupFinal”
Apart from them, Kareena Kapoor Khan also took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “Only Love and Respect. Team India tuff battle but well played.” Actor Vicky Kaushal wrote, “Still the best team out there. The skill and the character, grit and grace shown by Team India in this CWC has been phenomenal. Forever proud of you guys!”
Shah Rukh Khan also took to Twitter and wrote, “The way the Indian team has played this whole tournament is a matter of honour and they showed great spirit and tenacity. It’s a sport and there are always a bad day or two. Unfortunately it happened today….but thank u Team India for making us so proud of our sporting legacy in cricket…u bring too much cheer to the whole of India. Love and respect. Actor Suniel Shetty took to his Instagram stories and wrote, “Congratulations to Australia on their World Cup Final victory! One bad day for #MyTeamIndia. Amitabh Bachchan also cheered team India and tweeted, “T 4836 – Team India .. last night’s result is not, in anyway, a reflection of your talent , capability and standing .. proud of you .. better things will happen .. keep at it ..”
Anupam Kher also shared his mother’s reaction on his social media and wrote, “Mom’s analysis of today’s game! She watched the whole game. Her words were philosophical and soothing. Listen to her!
