SRK Calls Virat Kohli His “Damaad”, Netizens React!

During a QnA session on Twitter, Shah Rukh Khan ended up calling Virat Kohli his "damaad" (son-in-law). Check out!

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, fresh from the success of his latest film “Jawan,” recently treated his fans to a surprise Q&A session on his social media account. With a casual and jovial tone, Khan shared, “Away shooting. Been told call time is a bit later. So, think I can do a fast #AskSRK with you all if you are also free like me! Let’s start, and ask for anything…oops, ask anything! I mean.”

However, what truly grabbed everyone’s attention was when Shah Rukh Khan referred to Indian cricket icon Virat Kohli as his “son-in-law.” When a fan asked Khan to describe Kohli in “Jawan style,” the Bollywood actor replied with a heartfelt sentiment, “I love Virat Kohli; he is like my own, and I pray always for his well-being…bhai damaad jaisa hai humaara! (brother is like a son-in-law to me!)”

This endearing declaration of affection for Virat Kohli and his association with the Indian cricket team had fans swooning. Netizens wrote, “We Love You SRK”. But a disappinted fan said, “Bhai damad? Is he saying he is father of Virat Kohli?”

However, Shah Rukh Khan didn’t stop there; he extended his best wishes to the entire Indian sports team ahead of an important World Cup season, writing, “All the best to the boys…have a great World Cup!”

As Khan gears up for his upcoming film “Dunki,” he couldn’t resist teasing his eager fans about what to expect from this project. Comparing it to his previous offerings within the year, “Pathaan” and “Jawan,” Khan shared, “Dunki is funny and emotional…it’s Raju sir’s world, my brother. I’ve added a little action…don’t know if sir will choose to include it or not…he is the editor after all!”

Dunki will release in theatres on December 1.
