The creators of Dhruv Sarja’s upcoming pan-Indian film KD: The Devil announced on Wednesday that Shilpa Shetty Kundra has joined the cast of the film. To celebrate Gudi Padwa and Ugadi, the film crew shared the first-ever poster of Shilpa from the retro action drama movie.
Shilpa took to Instagram on Wednesday morning to share her character’s look and revealed her name. “On this auspicious day of NEW beginnings, I am pleased to share with you a NEW character who joins the war on the #KD battlefield as a Satyavati,” she wrote.

The poster features Shilpa dressed in a white polka dot saree with a red top paired with retro glasses and a tiger print bag. The actress wears a vintage saree. The banner proclaims, “Shilpa Shetty as Satyavati enters the kingdom KD: The Devil.”
Many praised her appearance. “Congratulations! You look enlightened,” wrote one fan. Choreographer Terence Lewis commented- “Love the look!” However, there were many who said the First Look poster exuded very Gangubai Kathiawadi vibes.” You imagine Gangubai Ki copying Lag Rahi Hai (This movie looks like a copy of Gangubai Kathiawadi)” wrote one.

Earlier the Shetty family had challenged the summons in the court sessions and now the judge declared that there were no documents to show that Shilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty were partners in the company, while Sunanda Surendra were partners.
