Court Quashes Order On Summons To Shamita And Shilpa Shetty

Shamita Shetty and Shamita Shetty in legal trouble.

Parhad Amra, proprietor of an automobile agency claimed that he had provided financial help to Shilpa Shetty’s father in July 2015. He had accused Shilpa’s father Surendra Shetty had informed him that his daughters Shamita and Shilpa along with his wife Sunanda were partners in the company. Later, Shilpa and Shamita father passed away in 2016 and Parhad is accused that the actresses and his wife have refused to pay the loan.

Hence, last year, Shilpa, Shamita, and Sunanda summons were issued by Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate RR Khan. The Shetty family had challenged the summons in the court sessions and now the judge declared that there were no documents to show that Shilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty were partners in the company, while Sunanda Surendra were partners.

Therefore, the Dindoshi Sessions court has stopped the magistrate’s orders issuing a warrant to Shilpa and Shamita in the 21 lakh cheating case. However, the case will continue against Sunanda.

Nevertheless, in its order the courtroom clarified that the sisters weren’t companions of their father’s partnership.  “Although they don’t seem to be companions of the partnership agency, the…metropolitan Justice of the Peace has issued a course of action towards them. Due to this fact, the impugned order to the extent of the accused Nos 2 (Shilpa) and three (Shamita) will not be authorized, correct and proper,” the period’s courtroom commented.

On the professional front, Shilpa Shetty will be seen next in the ‘Indian Police Force’ helmed by Rohit Shetty. Alongside Shilpa, Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi will also star, and this is Rohit’s cop universe debut on OTT.
