Rajveer Deol Reveals How Dad Sunny Deol Crushed Marble In His Hand Like It Was Nothing

Rajveer Deol, who recently made his acting debut in the film "Dono," added a playful anecdote about his father, Sunny Deol.

Sons of Bollywood icons, Sunny and Bobby Deol, made a heartwarming appearance on the second episode of “Koffee with Karan” season eight. Rajveer Deol and Karan Deol, both actors, shared heartfelt messages for their fathers, while Aryaman Deol, the third son, conveyed his sentiments through voice notes dedicated to his father Bobby and uncle Sunny.

Aryaman Deol began by describing his father, Bobby Deol, as “loving, caring, and understanding.” He shared a sentimental token of their relationship, saying, “He actually gifted me his iconic Barsaat sunglasses that I keep so carefully that I never actually wear. But I keep them with me. It’s one of the things that he has handed down to me that I really cherish.”

Rajveer Deol, who recently made his acting debut in the film “Dono,” added a playful anecdote about his father, Sunny Deol. He shared, “Even three years ago, with my height and being a grown man, he would put me on his lap and do the most childish things, instantly making me feel like a young boy. That’s Sunny Deol for you.” Rajveer also recalled a childhood incident involving a broken ornament, where Sunny’s imposing presence left them in awe. “I remember once my brother and I were playing football in our parents’ room. I must have been five or six, and we broke an ornament. He entered, saw the broken thing, picked it up—it was made of marble—and he crushed it in his hand as if it was nothing. I literally freaked out. Literally,” Rajveer humorously recounted.

Karan Deol, who made his acting debut with “Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas,” chimed in with his experiences of his father’s stern demeanour. He explained, “Fortunately, I’ve never experienced his famous ‘dhai kilo ka haath’ (two-and-a-half-kilogram hand), but I’ve been yelled at. And the stern, cold look is as effective as the hand because it sends shivers down your spine.” Karan also shared a delightful anecdote about his father’s softer side, revealing, “He buys teddy bears too. Seeing Sunny Deol buying teddy bears and keeping them in his room… Once someone asked me, ‘Is that yours?’ I said, ‘No, it’s my dad’s.’ They were left speechless, not expecting that side of him.”
