Addressing The Prevailing Negativity That Bollywood Has Encountered Over The Past Two Years, Rawal Spoke Candidly

Paresh Rawal, a stalwart in the Bollywood film industry, boasts a career spanning several decades. While he is known for his diverse roles, his upcoming venture in “Dream Girl 2” is generating excitement. In the film, he portrays the character of Vija Raaz’s father, who finds himself enamored by Pooja. With the movie’s release on the horizon, Paresh Rawal is leaving no stone unturned in his promotional efforts.

Addressing the prevailing negativity that Bollywood has encountered over the past two years, Rawal spoke candidly during an interview with Bollywoodlife. He asserted, “Bollywood ko koi hila nahi sakta (No one can shake up Bollywood). We are here to stay.” Despite this resilience, Rawal expressed a desire for greater unity within the industry, believing it to be the key in weathering challenges more effectively.

Delving into his selection process for movie roles, the seasoned actor disclosed, “I have done a number of movies just for the money. But now, I am totally over that space. The script and character is the main factor.” Rawal emphasized the importance of the director and co-actors, noting that a cohesive team brings out the best performances. His current aspiration is to engage with diverse characters, reflecting his evolving motto.

Looking ahead, Rawal’s schedule is brimming with upcoming projects, including “Hera Pheri 3” and “Welcome 3.” However, his immediate focus is on “Dream Girl 2.” The star-studded cast of the film includes Ayushmann Khurrana, Ananya Panday, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Abhishek Banerjee, and Annu Kapoor. Serving as the sequel to the 2019 hit “Dream Girl,” the movie is anticipated to captivate audiences once again with its intriguing storyline and dynamic performances.
