No IMDb Rating: “Fighter” Still Fighting To Fetch An IMDb Rating

Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's "Fighter" still didn't get an IMDb rating, and it may affect the audiences rush in the theater for the movie.

The most awaited collaboration of Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan, “Fighter” is out in the theaters. Though Deepika and Hrithik are sharing the screen for the first time, there wasn’t any buzz among the audience about the film before release. It seems like the PR team failed to make noise about the movie on social media. And all these have resulted in poor reviews from the public as well as critics, which ultimately affected the IMDb rating for the film.

IMDb hasn’t given ratings to Siddharth Anand’s Fighter even after 7–8 years of its release. It didn’t happen in the case of Ranbir Kapoor’s “Animal” and Vicky Kaushal’s “Sam Bahadur”. Even Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi starrer “Merry Christmas” received good IMDb ratings after a few hours of release.

According to IMDb maths, it gives a rating to any film on the basis of users’ rating. It allows its users to rate the film between 1-10, then it analyzes the general rating of all the users and gives one aggregate rating to the film. But audiences haven’t given their votes for the film yet and thus there are no ratings for this recently released Fighter.

Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s performances are loved by audiences and people liked their on-screen chemistry, but the film has been criticized for an unnecessary focus on nationalism. Well, IMDb’s rating for the film will give authenticity to other people whether it is worth watching or not. And no rating for Fighter may affect its box office collection indirectly.
