Tabassum Fatima Hashmi, known as Tabu, is an independent, empowered woman and not a princess in jeopardy. She is doing great with her family and friends. In an interview with Hindustan Times she shared her views and opinion about a relationship.
What did she say about relationships?
She said that our happiness should not depend on someone else. There could be many reasons behind our happiness other than relationships. If we are alone, that’s fine, any person is capable enough to handle their loneliness. But being with the wrong person could be more painful than that.
Tabu was always ready to be in love, but it didn’t happen. She said, “A man-woman relationship is a complicated thing. When we are young, we have an idea of love. Then we grow, have new experiences, become independent, and outgrow some things.” According to her, a relationship is something where two individuals grow in each others company. It should have an open space and no restrictions.
She never wanted to give up on her acting career and her desire to explore the world just for a man. That would be unfair to her talent and skill.
Tabu’s view on motherhood
Tabu also said that she wanted to be a mother and she thought of having a child out of wedlock. But she also said that she doesn’t have any right to deprive that child of growing up with both parents.
Tabu’s recent work
Tabu was recently seen in a movie, ‘Khufiya’, released on October 5 this year on Netflix. Before that, she worked in ‘Bholaa’, ‘Drishyam 2’, and ‘Kuttey’ this year. Her role in Kuttey and Khufiya was appreciated by many.
