Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt recently graced Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan 8 alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan. During the latest episode, the duo was seen having fun banter, and interesting gossip with show host Karan Johar. During their conversation Alia also revealed that she doesn’t consider Deepika Padukone her “competition” but she considers her more as a “senior”.
During the rapid-fire round, Karan Johar asked Kareena if she considered Deepika her competition. Visibly shocked Kareena then says that Karan should have asked Alia about the same. Kareena says, “Me? No. I think this is Alia’s question for her rapid-fire, not for me, Why am I being asked this question?”.
Reacting to the same Alia then says, that she doesn’t consider Deepika as her competition. She says, “Please not at all. Why would she be? She’s my senior, there is no competition.”
Karan Johar Asks If Alia Is Jealous Of Ranbir’s Female Co-Stars
In the episode, Karan also asks Alia and Kareena if they get jealous of their husband’s female co-stars. He says, “When you come back home do you find yourself second-guessing things? Do you build a narrative that you don’t want in your head about your husbands?”.
Reacting to the same, Alia says, “Chhi chhi, this is all just Page three talk which is something Reddit will be getting off on now after this one thread.” She adds, “This doesn’t exist. We are married to human beings first, then actors. I feel like we are talking too much about our husbands. We should talk about ourselves.”
Karan then states that Alia Bhatt has often been accused by netizens of talking too much about her husband Ranbir Kapoor. To this Alia Bhatt says “That’s why I’m saying I don’t want to talk about him. I want to talk about myself.”
