Koffee With Karan 8: Alia Bhatt Reacts To Ranbir Kapoor Being Called “Toxic”

Bollywood actresses Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan recently graced the chat show, Koffee With Karan 8. During their appearance, the actresses had some fun conversations and gossip with filmmaker Karan Johar. During their conversation, Alia Bhatt was also seen addressing the claims made by netizens who called her husband Ranbir Kapoor a “toxic man”.

For the unversed, the controversy about Ranbir Kapoor started after a lipstick video of Alia Bhatt went viral in which the actress said that her husband Ranbir doesn’t like her applying any lipstick, he prefers her natural lip color and usually asks her to wipe her lipstick off whenever she applies it.

Reacting to the video many netizens called the actor a “red flag”, and called him out for being a “toxic husband”. Reacting to the controversy Alia finally broke her silence and addressed the issue on chat show Koffee With Karan 8. Alia said that her team told her that the issue got out of hand with the lipstick video.

Alia stated that she was genuinely hurt by all the comments calling her husband Ranbir a “toxic husband”. She revealed that in reality, Ranbir is the total opposite of how the netizens had portrayed him.

Later the actress revealed Ranbir Kapoor’s reaction to the same and said, “Ranbir said that ‘Alia the audience owns you, they can say whatever the hell they want to say about you, as long as your movies are doing well please don’t complain sitting in your apartment in Bandra”.
