Kareena Kapoor Requests Audience To NOT Boycott Laal Singh Chaddha

LaalSinghChaddha: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s starrer film Laal Singh Chaddha is now out in the theatres, after much buzz, the film has finally made its way to the big screens, however, the film has opened up to a luke-warm response from the audience while many people even protested against the film. Kareena Kapoor Requests Audience To NOT Boycott Laal Singh Chaddha

Ahead of the release of the film, Laal Singh Chaddha, the Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor was seen opening up about her statement in an interview during which she asked the people to not watch her films if they don’t want to, apparently, the statement of the actress was seen making rounds on the internet before the release of the film, the statement gathered quite some attention of the people soon after which the netizens decided to boycott her film.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview with Siddharth Kanan, the actress opened up about her comment and said,  “I think it’s only a section of people that are trolling. But genuinely, I think that the love the film is getting is very different. These are just a section of people who are probably on your social media, which is probably like 1%.”

She further added and said, “But the fact is that they shouldn’t boycott this film, it’s such a beautiful film. And I want people to see me and Aamir (Khan) on screen. It’s been three years, we’ve waited so long. So, please don’t boycott this film, because it’s actually like boycotting good cinema. And people have worked so hard on it; we’ve had 250 people work on this film for two-and-a-half years”.

Laal Singh Chaddha opened up to a disappointing collection at the box office on the very first day collecting about 10-11cr. While earlier the film created quite a buzz after social media users decided to boycott the film. Laal Singh Chaddha’s opening is lesser than Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhuliayaa 2, which recorded Rs 14.11 crore on the first day of its release. Even Akshay Kumar’s box office disaster Bachchhan Pandey recorded an opening of Rs 13.25 crore.
