Koffee with Karan: Bollywood actors Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aamir Khan recently appeared on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan. Meanwhile, at the chat show, the Bollywood filmmaker, Karan Johar left everyone in shock when he mistakenly referred to Shahid Kapoor as the ex-husband of Laal Singh Chaddha actress Kareena Kapoor.
Karan Johar Calls Shahid Kapoor, ‘Kareena’s Ex-Husband’
Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar never fails to amaze his fans with his very controversial show Koffee With Karan. Every episode of the much-talked chat show has created a buzz among its viewers. While in the very latest episode of the show which featured Laal Singh Chaddha actors Kareena Kapoor and Aamir Khan, the filmmaker was seen leaving the viewers in shock after he ‘mistakenly’ called Shahid Kapoor as the ‘ex-husband’ of Kareena Kapoor.
Yes, you read it right, ‘ex-husband’, the filmmaker indeed called Kareena’s ex-beau Shahid Kapoor as her ex-husband at the show. It all started when Karan Johar shared a talk with Aamir and Kareena recalling the previous appearances made by the Jab We Met actress on Koffee With Karan with her husband Saif Ali Khan and her ex-boyfriend Shahid Kapoor.
Karan said, “Bebo, you have been on this show so many times. You have come in different stages of your life. Bebo has been with her husband, ex-hus…,” correcting himself Karan said, “Not ex-husband, sorry. She’s been with her ex-boyfriend. She’s then been with her contemporary and I have seen you through all these stages.”
Not only this, during the rapid-fire round Karan again mentioned Shahid Kapoor when he asked Kareena about who would not be invited to Shahid Kapoor’s party, to this Kareena quickly responded and said, “Me. I don’t know I’m just saying.”
For the unversed, Kareena earlier appeared with Shahid Kapoor in the second season of the chat show Koffee With Karan, during which Shahid confessed that he had become less boring since he entered into a relationship with Bebo. Later in season 3, the actress made her entry with her now-husband Saif Ali Khan.
For the uninitiated who were living under a rock, actors Shahid and Kareena have previously been a couple and have dated each other for nearly 5 years. However, the couple never tried to hide it from the world. Unfortunately, the two broke up which left their fans heartbroken after the duo parted ways during their superhit movie, Jab We Met.
Kareena Kapoor and Aamir Khan, who have previously worked together in the blockbuster film 3 Idiots are now gearing up for the release of Laal Singh Chaddha. It will hit the theatres on 11 August, clashing with Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan.
Meanwhile, the Koffee With Karan episode featuring them will premiere on Hostar on Thursday at 12 AM.
