Kangana Ranaut, known for her boldness, has been outspoken about both entertainment and politics. Recently, she disclosed her decision to join the BJP and run for Lok Sabha Elections from Mandi, her hometown, sparking significant media attention. Recently many netizens speculated if the actress decided to shift her career towards politics after delivering several box office flops in a row. At the Times Now Summit, the actress addressed the speculation and put an end to the rumors.

For those unaware, Kangana Ranaut’s recent films, including Panga, Dhaakad, and Tejas, didn’t meet the anticipated success. At the Times Now Summit, Ranaut was questioned about people speculating that her entry into politics stemmed from her films’ underperformance and her perceived dissatisfaction with Bollywood.
Kangana Ranaut refutes such claims, stating that no artist exclusively delivers hits. Giving Shah Rukh Khan as an example she said, “Even Shah Rukh Khan had several films that didn’t perform well before Pathaan. Similarly, after a few years without much success, Queen revived my career.”
After “Queen”, Kangana experienced both successes and failures in subsequent films, but she made a strong comeback with her film, “Manikarnika”. She remains optimistic about the prospects of her upcoming movie, “Emergency”, hoping for its success in theaters.
On the work front, Kangana Ranaut was last seen in the aerial-action film, ‘Tejas’. Unfortunately, Tejas was a huge box office failure. She will next be seen in her upcoming film, Emergency which will be a historical drama based on true events that unfolded in 1975 under the leadership of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
