Every one of you must have remembered the craze for the ‘Lungi Dance’ song when it was released. Yo Yo Honey Singh has just grabbed the whole market since then. Singer and rapper Honey Singh has given many songs like ‘Blue Eyes’, ‘Sunny Sunny’, ‘Fugly’, ‘Dheere Dheere’ to vibe on it. This Honey Singh finally came out from a long-going court proceeding on 7th November, Tuesday. He was stuck in the divorce case on which an honorable court gave its judgment yesterday. Now, Yo Yo Honey Singh and his wife Shalini Talwar are legally separated.
Shalini Talwar and Honey Singh got married in January 2011. After 10 years of marriage, Shalini filed a case of Domestic Violence against Honey Singh and his family. And in the year 2022 she filed a case for divorce. During that period, Honey Singh posted a long note to all his dear fans requesting them not to judge him until the court gives its verdict. He also mentioned how his relationship with his wife was and how almost all the people in the industry he has worked with know about their strong bond. He said that his wife was a prime member, a crew in all his works and events. He clearly mentioned that all allegations were fake.
Finally, the court granted permission for divorce after passing a second motion according to the Hindu Marriage Act. The court asked Honey Singh if he wanted to give their marriage a second chance but he denied saying, “Now there is no point in living together.” After granting the divorce, the court withdrew the allegations about him and he had to pay her alimony of Rs. 1 crore.
But during this entire period of 2 and half years, Honey Singh didn’t stop his work. He continued giving good performances. His recent song ‘Kalaastar’ was a hit. And next week, on November 15 his next song is coming named ‘Dheeth’.
