Twinkle said yes to marry Akshay Kumar because she lost a bet they had over her movie "Mela", lets read what was that bet.

There are very few Bollywood couples who succeed in keeping the magic of their marriage alive. Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna will definitely get 5 out of 5 stars for this reason. This couple completed 23 years of their marriage today on January 17. Their love story blossoms in a very odd way. But this couple is stepping ahead and ahead in their relationship. Akshay and his beloved Tina started a casual affair and later ended up marrying each other by a bet. On their first appearance on the “Koffee with Karan” show, the couple uncovered their successful love story from being in a relationship to becoming spouses.

Twinkle Khanna, whose pet name is Tina, started dating Akshay Kumar on a very casual note as she didn’t want to get married at that time. But Akshay was pretty sure about her. When they were together, Twinkle’s “Mela” was about to be released, and she was sure that it would be a hit film so that her career would take a turn towards a successful path. But on the other hand, Akshay already predicted that it would be a flop. And thus, they had a bet. Bet was if Mela got a flop, Twinkle would marry Akshay. Eventually, Mela didn’t work out, and today they are celebrating their 23rd marriage anniversary.

Before their marriage, Twinkle did a long search and went in depth into Akshay’s family chart. She asked him many questions about whether his family had any disease, when their hair started falling out, what was the reason behind his mother’s death etc. So that she could get an idea of whether her family would be that healthy with Akshay. She made a chart of the pros and cons of marrying Akshay Kumar. She went all the way practically before tying the knot with Akshay.

Well, both of them have their own ideas to keep their relationship fresh. They are indeed a great example of a happy family.
