Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has been creating a buzz in the B-Town as the filmmakers dropped the trailer of the movie today. ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2′, a sequel to Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan’s film stars Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Tabu, and others. The cast was spotted at the trailer launch sharing their experiences from the film.
During the launch, the lead actor of the film, Kiara Advani was asked a question about how difficult was it for her to step in the shoes of Vidya Balan who played the role of ‘Manjulika’ in Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Responding to the question the actress said, ” Let me begin by saying Bhool Bhulaiyaa the first part was the first horror-comedy film that I have ever seen and I think it was one of the best made horror-comedy films from our country and what they have obviously created the character of Manjulika and Akshay Sir and Vidya Ma’am what they have done those shoes are too big to fill in, we are attempting to fill in those shoes, we are just trying to do our work, the best we can, and this is a franchise and not a remake, so I am not playing that character. Yes, there is Manjulika and I can’t give away the suspense of the film. But I think they were the inspiration and we have tried to do our best at these characters sir has written for us”.
When ‘Dhamaka’ actor Kartik Aaryan was also asked a similar question, he said, “I would not compare but I have loved his acting, I have grown up watching him, so it would be better if we not compare both the characters(So comparison naa he kare toh better hai). And I think we have tried to create a nostalgic presence from the previous character,We have taken that world (of the previous film) but everything else is new, of our own. I hope people will love it in its own new dynamic world that we have created with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Comparisons will be there, but hope people remember this film for what it is”.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Release Date: The much-awaited film will hit the screens on May 20.
