Arun Govil Reacts To Ranbir Kapoor Playing “Ram” In Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayan’

In a recent interview, actor Arun Govil shared his reaction on Ranbir Kapoor playing the role of lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's film, "Ramayan".

In a conversation with Bollywood Spy, Arun shared his thoughts on Ranbir Kapoor, who is slated to portray Lord Rama in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan trilogy. Arun praised Ranbir as a talented actor, noting his cultural refinement, and expressed confidence that he would excel in the role.

Arun Govil On Ranbir Kapoor Playing Lord Ram In Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan

Regarding whether Ranbir and the forthcoming Ramayan trilogy could live up to the legacy of his iconic Doordarshan show, Arun Govil commented, “Only time can tell if that will happen or not, can’t say anything in advance about it. But, as far as Ranbir is concerned, he is a good actor. He is an award-winning actor.”

Praising Ranbir Kapoor, Arun Govil added, “Whatever I know of him, Ranbir works very hard, and he is a very cultured kid. He has good moral and cultural values. I’ve noticed it several times. I’m very sure that he will try to do his level best.”

Meanwhile, previously it was reported that the makers have put the cast of the film, Ramayana under a “self-restrained lifestyle” to avoid any controversies that can affect the film. A source revealed to KoiMoi, that Ranbir will be avoiding drinking alcohol and eating meat.

Meanwhile, talking about the cast of Nitesh Tiwari’s film, Ramayan is believed actor Ranbir Kapoor will play the role of lord Ram, Sunny Deol has been approached for the role of Hanuman, Yash will be seen as Ravan, Bobby Deol as Kumbhakarna, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, and Vijay Sethupathi as Vibhishan. On the other hand, Sai Pallavi and Janhvi Kapoor have been in talks for the role of goddess Sita.
