Aamir Khan got the tag of Mr. Perfectionist during the production of the film 'Dil' directed by Indra Kumar.

Lagaan actor Aamir Khan is known as Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood. Entering the glamorous world of B-town in 1984 as an adult actor, he embarked on his superhit journey. With a variety of roles in various movies like ‘Dil’, ‘Love Love Love’, ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’, ‘Raja Hindusthani’, ‘Rangeela’, Sarfarosh’, ‘Lagaan’, ‘Secret Superstar’, ‘Thugs of Hindustan’, and many others, he has proved his adeptness in acting. But do you know how the actor got the title of ‘Mr. Perfectionist’? In an upcoming episode of Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show, Aamir Khan has marked his hilarious appearance on the stage. The Netflix team shared a note where, in a conversation, Aamir narrates the story behind his Mr. Perfectionist tag.

It was none other than veteran actress Shabana Azmi who titled Aamir, Mr. Perfectionist. The incident happened during the movie ‘Dil’ directed by Indra Kumar, and the cinematography was done by Baba Azmi. So the team was having some important conversations regarding the film at Baba Azmi’s house. There, Shabana Azmi asked Amir how much sugar he would like to have in his tea. Even in between that conversation, he asked her back, “How big is the glass?” and after showing him the glass, he again asked, “Chamcha kitna bada hai?”. He was trying to answer accurately. Then he talked about how Shabana Azmi outlined this incident, saying, “If you ask Aamir, sugar for his tea, he will first ask for the size of the cup and then the spoon.”

On the professional front, Aamir Khan will be next seen in Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Lahore 1947’, along with Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta. It is anticipated that Shabana Azmi might join the team soon.
