Starring Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan, and Jyotika, Vikas Bahl’s much-awaited Bollywood horror-thriller, “Shaitaan” was released in theatres on 8th March. The Bollywood horror film opened up to positive reviews from both moviegoers and critics. After witnessing a bumper opening the film has been performing decently well at the box office. As per the latest reports, the film has now crossed the 80cr mark domestically and will now be aiming at the 100cr mark.

Shaitaan Box Office Collection Day 5
As per Sacnilk.com, Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan starrer “Shaitaan” a solid ₹ 14.00 Cr on its first day at the box office. The film saw huge growth during the weekend (Saturday-Sunday), earning ₹ 18.75 Cr on Sunday and ₹ 20.5 Cr on Saturday.
However, the film witnessed a huge drop in earnings starting from Monday. The film earned ₹ 7.25 Cr on Monday, and ₹ 6.75 Cr on Tuesday. As per the reports, the film currently stands at a domestic total of approx, ₹ 68 Cr. Meanwhile, the worldwide box office collection of the film reportedly stands at a whopping ₹88 crore.
Shaitaan Story/Plot
“Shaitaan” narrates the tale of a family of four, grappling to survive after encountering a malevolent black magician portrayed by R. Madhavan. The trailer features the story of a family’s encounter with an unexpected visitor, played by R Madhavan, who intrudes upon their isolated farmhouse in the hills. He claims to have hypnotized Janhvi (played by Janki Bodiwala), the daughter of Ajay Devgn’s character. Following this revelation, chaos erupts, with Jyotika playing the role of Ajay’s wife in the film.

Shaitaan is the official Hindi remake of Vash, a Gujarati horror thriller directed by Krishnadev Yagnik. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the Bollywood horror thriller “Shaitaan” stars Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan, Jyotika, and Janki Bodiwala in the lead roles. Shaitaan was released in the theatres on 8th March 2024.
