Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, the much-anticipated Bollywood mystery adventure film, “Article 370” was released in theatres on 23 February. Starring Yami Gautam in the lead role the film opened up to positive reviews from both the audience and the critics. Following the positive reactions from moviegoers, Article 370 took a decent start at the box office.

As per Sacnilk.com, Yami Gautam starrer Bollywood film, Article 370 earned approx. ₹ 5.75 Cr on its opening day (first day) at the box office. The film had a 42.8 percent occupancy rate for Hindi audiences overall on Friday. Jaipur had the highest number of Hindi viewers, with Pune, Delhi-NCR, and Chennai following closely behind. Yami Gautam starrer Article 370 is expected to see further growth at the box office during the upcoming weekend (Saturday-Sunday).
Article 370 Story
The film offers a cinematic exploration of the historical background surrounding the revocation of Article 370. Yami Gautam takes on the role of Zooni Haksar, an intelligence officer dealing with personal loss, who emerges as the central character. Assigned to a crucial mission in Kashmir, she is entrusted with leading an operation amidst the backdrop of the abrogation. It depicts a mission assigned to Yami Gautam’s character by Priyamani, who portrays Rajeshwari Swaminathan. The objective is to achieve the revocation of Article 370 without resorting to violence.
