Anupam Kher Remembers Bappi Lahiri In This Emotional Video

Actor Anupam Kher pays a heartfelt tribute to the late singer Bappi Lahiri in this emotional video.

Bollywood actor Anupam Kher has posted a video of himself on social media in which he can be seen remembering the late singer Bappi Lahiri. He says, “Bappi Da! Bappi Da! Why do good people leave the earth so soon? Why do people, who have filled so much happiness, music, comfort in others’ lives, leave? Bappi Da was a fabulous human being. The world knows how good of a singer and music composer he was! But as a person, he was so encouraging, positive and optimistic. Whenever I used to meet him, I had a feeling of happiness in my heart.”

He further says in the video, “Bappi Da did the background score of ‘Maine Gandhi Ko Nahi Maara’. And I don’t think anybody could have done that. Bappi Da used to wear gold, but he had a heart of gold as well. He was a very good man. He used to say, ‘Anupam, you should sing. I will compose music for you’.”

Anupam Kher further mentions that the passing away of Lata Mangeshkar and Bappi Lahiri is like an era is fading away. He further says, “Bappi Da said in his song ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’ but he said Alvida forever.

He adds, “Sadness is a small word to express the feeling. My condolences to the family.”

Bappi Lahiri passed away on Tuesday night at the age of 69.
