Many celebrities were spotted visiting Bappi Lahiri’s house to pay their last respects after the legendary singer passed away on Tuesday night. However, Rakhi Sawant paid her condolences to the grieving family via media and also mentioned why she couldn’t visit Bappi Lahiri’s house.
Rakhi was spotted outside a gym in Lokhandwala and interacted with the media. Mourning the demise of Bappi Lahiri, she said with teary eyes, “Bappi Da, we miss you. I have attended so many award nights with him.”
She further said, “He looked so good wearing so much gold. No one in this world can pull off his look.” She also mentioned a few hit songs of Bappi Lahiri while remembering him.
Bappi Lahiri made his last public appearance on Bigg Boss 15 in Oct 2021. Recalling the same, she said, “He came with his grandson. We miss you.”
When she was asked why she didn’t visit Bappi Lahiri’s house to pay last respects, she said, “I am very sad. I am not in my senses. And I didn’t have white salwar-kameez.”
Rakhi Sawant recently announced that her husband Ritesh has left her due to some legal trouble with his first wife.
