Popular television show Kundali Bhagya which is the spinoff of the longest-running show Kumkum Bhagya, is about to go through a 20-year leap. New characters and faces in the show are about to be seen after the leap. One such is Baseer Ali who is a popular face, in reality, shows like Splitsvilla and Roadies. The reality tv star is making his acting debut soon.

He is set to play the role of Shaurya Luthra, a rich, spoilt brat, who only listens to his mom and no one else. While speaking about his role to ET Times, Baseer said, “This is my acting debut and with one of the best shows. I am glad to be considered for this role and I hope I can do justice. Shraddha, Shakti, and Dheeraj have killed it and they are so popular. I want to see how people perceive me in the acting space.”
The promo of a leap, featuring the three actors – Paras Kalnawat, Baseer, and Sana Sayyad, has already gone viral. Baseer says, “I have been cast as the negative lead and I think the casting is amazing with Paras and Sana. I will get to learn a lot from them. They are extremely talented. It is going to be an amazing journey.”

He continued- “I got a comfort zone while playing the role because certain traits match with my real-life personality. For the show, I have grown my hair a bit. I feel different and this look is helping me in playing the role of Shaurya better.”
