Actress Payal Ghosh recently left her fans worried as she shared a suicide note on social media. She left off naming the people who would be responsible for her death in an unfinished suicide note that she uploaded online a few days ago. Her tweet, which appeared to be a suicide note, quickly went viral and confused everyone. After speaking about mental health for several weeks, Payal sent the note.
She sent a message on her Instagram account saying, “This is me, Payal Ghosh. If I die by suicide or heart attack, people who will be responsible for that are.” Fans who were worried about the actress sent comments on her blog asking if she was okay. Numerous online users advised her to seek medical advice and assistance if she needed it.
Earlier, Ghosh had mentioned how people’s mental health is underappreciated while expressing her shock at Tunisha Sharma’s suicide. It’s been quite awful how people are pursuing that road, she reportedly told Firstpost. “It’s been very unfortunate how people are taking that route. A major challenge here is that we undervalue mental health. We have to start with strong foundations and have people around us to discuss and work out things, and we need to start by believing that suicide is never an option. Life is a marathon, not a sprint. We need to start believing that everything can be figured out if we can delay our gratifications and not seek external validation,” she stated.
In 2020, Payal gained notoriety when she reported filmmaker Anurag Kashyap to the police on charges of sexual harassment. Kashyap, though, rejected the accusations as unfounded.
