Karnataka Congress MLA Enters Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10 House, Sparking Controversy

The controversy deepened when the Vande Mataram Social Service Organization filed a complaint against Pradeep Eshwar.

Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10, hosted by actor Kiccha Sudeep, made its much-anticipated premiere on October 8, 2023. However, the show has already sparked controversy with the entry of Karnataka Congress MLA Pradeep Eshwar into the reality house.

Initially, it was reported that MLA Pradeep Eshwar had entered Bigg Boss Kannada as a new contestant, causing a stir among the audience on social media. However, the show’s makers clarified on Monday that he had appeared on the show as a “motivational speaker.”

Upon exiting the Bigg Boss house, MLA Pradeep Eshwar stated that the money he received for his appearance as a guest would be donated to an orphanage.

The controversy deepened when the Vande Mataram Social Service Organization filed a complaint against Pradeep Eshwar. The complaint stated, “Pradeep Eshwar is a legislator from Chikkaballapur constituency. He is receiving a salary from the state government and needs to address the grievances of the people in his constituency at any given point.”

The complaint went on to express disappointment with the MLA’s participation in an entertainment reality program, highlighting the responsibility he holds as an elected representative.

Meanwhile, speaking to News 18, MLA Pradeep Eshwar defended his decision to participate in Bigg Boss Kannada, stating, “I was a motivational speaker there. I am proud of myself; I don’t care.”

Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10 features a diverse lineup of contestants, including Namrata Gowda, Abhinav Viswanathan, Bhumika Basavaraj, Vinay Gowda, Gaurish Akki, Dona Pratap, Rakshak Bullet, Sangeeta Sringeri, Snake Shyam, Komal, Charlie Schwana, Neetu Vanajakshi, and Siri, also known as Sirija. As the season unfolds, it remains to be seen how this controversy will impact the show’s dynamics and viewership.
