'Who Killed Moosewala? The Spiralling Story Of Violence In Punjab', this book is based on the life of a famous Punjabi singer with international recognition, Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, famously known as 'Sidhu Moose Wala'. Sidhu Moose Wala was assassinated by a gangster group in Mansa city of Punjab on 29th May 2022.

Soon we will experience thrills and suspense filled in the life of Sidhu Moose Wala on screen. The backbone of the films like ‘Monica, O My Darling’, ‘Three Of Us’ and the series ‘Scoop’, Matchbox Shots production house has acquired the rights of the book ‘Who Killed Moosewala?’ written by Jupinderjit Singh. The book launched early in this year and from then many production houses are trying to get the rights to make a film or series based on this book. But finally, Matchbox Shots has gotten the opportunity to present every inch of a book, thoroughly on screen.

The story is about the journey of Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu to Sidhu Moose Wala, the facts and reasons behind his assassination.

Sidhu Moose Wala’s songs had a pattern, a pattern in which he used to write about enemies and violence various gangsters have created in Punjab. Sidhu’s ‘Bambiha’ song was a hit for ganglord Bishnoi. After the release of that song, Sidhu Moose Wala continuously received death threats, which he ignored. There are many finest aspects attached to it, which have been clarified in the book.
