A Bollywood Actress who has worked in Tamil film too, daughter of Superstar Dharmendra and Dreamgirl Hema Malini, Esha Deol, turned 42 today on November 2. She shared a self-birthday post on social media with pictures of her daughter and mother. Her birthday appearance in a pink suit was simple yet gorgeous. She wrote, “Love & gratitude to all for the lovely birthday wishes & blessings coming my way. As always started my morning with a havan at home with my mother & my darling daughters.”
Esha Deol was recently seen in the series ‘Hunter, Tootega Nahi Todega’ with Sunil Shetty, and before that, she worked in the series ‘Rudra’ with Ajay Devgn. What we see today is the real transformation of Esha Deol started in the movie ‘Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe’, released in 2002. Esha made her acting debut with this movie. But she got real recognition after Arjun Sablok’s movie ‘Na Tum Jaano Na Hum’ starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan as the opposite leads.
Talking about her role in this movie, Esha said, “This role is a transformation of a girl to a woman. This role defines how a girl feels when she is growing up and how she takes over other responsibilities like marriage and all.” Esha was very young when she signed this movie. In that interview she said that she wanted to do a variety of roles as she was really interested in acting. But she would do it gradually with growing age. And she did it. She got a real break in the industry with Yash Raj Films’ movie ‘Dhoom’ with the opposite lead as Abhishek Bachchan. She was praised for her roles in Ram Gopal Verma’s ‘Darling’, ‘Cash’, ‘Hijackl, ‘Ek Duaa’ etc. She did a really great job in a Tamil movie, ‘Aiyatha Ezhuthu’.
Though she didn’t get any blockbuster movies, whatever work Esha has done made her groom in her personal life. She is the real transformation from a girl to a 42-year-old woman as she said during her movie ‘Na Tum Jaano Na Hum’.
