Prashanth Neel’s much-anticipated Telugu action-thriller, “Salaar” was released in the theatres on 22 December. Starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan the film took off to a flying start at the box office. As per the latest reports, Prabhas starrer Salaar has now crossed the 500cr mark globally and is now inching closer to the 550cr mark.

As per Sanilk, Prashanth Neel’s Telugu action-thriller, Salaar had a massive opening at the box office. Starring Prabhas the Telugu film registered a box office opening worth a whopping 95 crores in India.
The film saw huge growth during the weekend. Prabhas starrer crossed the 250cr mark domestically and 400cr mark globally during the weekend and Christmas. However, the film saw a huge dip on Tuesday at the box office.
Salaar earned ₹ 24.9cr on Tuesday, however, the film further witnessed another major dip on Wednesday, grossing a total, of ₹ 17.00 Cr. The film now stands at a domestic total of a whopping ₹ 297.40 Cr. Meanwhile, reportedly the film has crossed the 500cr mark globally at the box office.

Salaar will be a Telugu action thriller film, directed by KGF director Prashanth Neel. The film will feature Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles. Apart from them the film also stars Jagapati Babu, Eshwari Rao, and Sriya Reddy in significant roles. The film was released in theatres on December 22, 2023, in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages.
