The much-awaited teaser of Prabhas’ upcoming film Salaar was dropped yesterday. Prabhas is seen in a full-on action role in Prashanth Neel’s directorial. Salaar teaser was loved by the fans of the Telugu star and it was trending at no. 1 on YouTube. However, it was criticized by actor-turned-critic Kamaal R Khan. KRK wrote in his tweet, “I watched teaser of film #Salaar and I will say that it’s crap, wahiyat, gathiya and cringe. Therefore, I refuse to review it.”
KRK was heavily bashed for criticizing Salaar teaser. A user said to KRK, “Salaar ki jagah apna chehra dekha hoga mirror me.”
Someone tweeted, “Aapko toh KGF bhi ghatiya lagi thhi…kyunki aapko samaj mein nhi aayi .but public ne aap pe AA THOO kar diya tha.”
Another tweet reads, “Aapki movie kab AA Rahi hai !! Hme bhi esi baate bolne ka vakt do koi bar . Dusre ki aap karte ho to hum bhi try kare na aapki movie k liye.”
However, many users agreed to KRK’s opinion and mentioned that they didn’t like Salaar teaser as well. A user said, “Seriously it was super senseless. Now even the trailer is predictable.”
“Bilkul sahi .. mujhe bhi psand nhi aya,” reads another Twitter reply!
A Twitter user said, “kgf wala crap esame bhi uthakar daal diya hai. public ka bhi movie dekhane ke baad two opinion hai: 1. goosebumps wala audience 2. crap, cringe, overacting, aukat se jyada action wala movie hai.”
Salaar is an upcoming action film directed by Prashanth Neel, who is known for directing the KGF franchise. Interestingly, Salaar is also a part of Prashanth’s action multiverse. The film will have a pan-India release on 28th September 2023.
