The Internet is talking about Vijay’s 67th film which is all set to release in a few weeks. The film was tentatively titled Thalapathy 67, as it is Vijay’s 67th film as a lead actor. And recently, the makers announced its official name ‘Leo’. It is an action thriller film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Fans are eagerly awaiting for this film ever since it was announced. Leo Cast:

Leo features Tamil actor Vijay in the lead role while Trisha Krishnan plays the female lead. Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who was recently seen playing an antagonist in KGF 2, will also be a part of Leo. Other cast includes Arjun Sarja, Mansoor Ali Khan and Priya Anand. A few weeks ago, Vijay unveiled his first look from the film. He looked fierce in the first poster.

Leo Release Date:

Leo was officially announced in January 2023 under the tentative title Thalapathy 67. The makers are planning to release it in theatres worldwide on 19 October 2023. Apart from Tamil, the film is expected to be released in dubbed versions including Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.

Leo Movie Interesting Facts:

1- Leo is said to be made with an estimated budget of Rs 250–300 crore. However, according to trade sources, it will become the first Tamil film to achieve a pre-release recovery of over Rs 420 crore with the sale of satellite, digital, music, and theatrical rights.

2- The satellite rights have been bagged by Sun TV while Netflix has purchased the online streaming rights.

3- Vijay shot a fight scene at -20 degrees Celcius in Kashmir. For the shot, he wearing a thin shirt and even had to roll on the ice.

4- As per the reports, there is an action sequence in the film involving a hyena. This scene individually cost Rs 10 crore to the makers.

5- The director shot an introductory song sequence with 500 background dancers. He spent about Rs 7 crore just to shoot that song.
