A section of social media users came out and praised Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and actor Raghava Lawrence for their performance in the film. While many other netizens claimed the film to be a “perfect family entertainer” and a “must watch”.

Directed by P. Vasu and bankrolled by Lyca Productions, Chandramukhi 2 is a Tamil horror comedy film, starring Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and Raghava Lawrence in the lead roles. Kangana Ranaut plays a dual role as Chandramukhi while Raghava Lawrance plays the role of Vattaiyan Raja.
Apart from them the film also features Vadivelu, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Lakshmi Menon, Srushti Dange, and others in significant roles. Chandramukhi 2 was released in theatres on 28th September, in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
