Popular actor Kamal Haasan is geared up for his upcoming flick Vikram, the actor will be seen playing the lead role alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. While after a unique trailer launch by Aamir Khan’s film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, the makers will now screen the Vikram trailer on the Burj Khalifa on June 1, ahead of its release on June 3, 2022.
Sharing the news on Twitter, Raaj Kamal Films International announced the trailer screening, calling it one of the “most expensive events” in the industry as they wrote, “Brace yourselves for one of the most extravagant events in the cinematic universe – with none other than UlagaNayagan @ikamalhaasan ! #Vikram trailer to be presented on the world’s tallest screen, Burj Khalifa, on 1st June at 8.10pm. Special thanks to @ReelCinemas & Emaar”.
Reacting to the news fans took over their reactions to social media a user wrote, “Other heroes & production houses should learn from @ikamalhaasan & @RKFI Promotion strategy are very promising & impressive Presenting on world’s tallest building Burj Khalifa”. Another wrote, “Just look into it#KicchaSudeep ‘s #VikrantRona Is the 1st movie to launch sneak peek”.
The recently released teaser for the film featured action-packed moments including a number of chases and gunfights and some strong exchanges. The trailer’s description said, ‘The lion, tiger, and leopard will stalk their prey, but the deer will flee for his life. However, if the sun sets, the surviving animal will see the new drain. Only nature decides, but in this forest, I shall choose when, where, and who will see the dawn’.
Disney+ Hotstar holds the digital rights of the film, Star Vijay also acquired the satellite rights of the film in multiple languages. While this will be Kamal Haasan’s first theatrical release after Vishwaroopam II. So, fans of the actor are eagerly looking forward to catch their idol on screen for the first time since the pandemic.
