Bhurban, Pakistan. During the celebrations, Mahira shared a video from what appeared to be a pre-wedding musical night or sangeet, featuring a performance by renowned Pakistani singer Abida Parveen.
In the video, Mahira, adorned in an embellished lehenga, danced alongside her now-husband Salim Karim, surrounded by family and friends. What caught the attention of eagle-eyed social media users, however, was the presence of Fawad Khan.
Fawad Khan, known for his work in Bollywood films such as “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” (2016) and “Kapoor and Sons” (2016), was spotted at the event. He donned a white kurta set paired with a brown shawl, sitting among other guests in the audience while Abida Parveen enchanted the crowd with her performance of “Tu Jhoom.”
As Mahira and Salim made their way to the beautifully lit outdoor venue, holding hands, they received cheers and a warm welcome from the guests. Fawad Khan was briefly captured on camera, looking up as Mahira and Salim entered. He made a second appearance in the clip, sharing the moment with other guests as they enjoyed Abida’s performance.
Sharing the video, Mahira expressed her deep admiration for Abida Parveen, writing, “Anyone who knows me… knows… Abida Parveen.. all my love, all my respect. Alhumdulillah. Shukr. Sabr. Shukr (Gratitude and patience).”
