Kantara Box Office Collection: The Hindi version of Rishab Shetty’s film Kantara was released on 14th October. The Sandalwood film has been doing exceptionally well since its release, as per the reports it is now believed that on Monday the film managed to earn more than its opening day, while the film continued to perform well on Tuesday as well. The Hindi version of the film has already crossed the 10cr mark in just 5 days. Here’s how much Rishab Shetty’s film Kantara has earned so far at the box office-

Kantara is a Kannada film, which is based on the Karnataka annual festivals, Bhoota Kola and Kambala. The action-adventure film stars Rishab Shetty, Sapthami Gowda, Kishore Kumar G, Achyuth Kumar, and Pramod Shetty in key roles. The film is based on a story of a conflict between humans and nature.
As per the trade reports, Rishab Shetty’s film Kantara has recorded great earnings at the box office due to its positive word of mouth. The film even managed to score higher digits than its opening day figures on Monday. The film has earned more than 1.35 crores on Monday. Continuing its impressive run the film collected a total of approx 1.8cr on Tuesday.
For the unversed, the original Kannada version of Kantara was released on 30th September alongside Mani Ratnam’s film PS-1. Meanwhile, the Hindi version of the Kannada film was released alongside Ayushmann Khurrana’s film Doctor G and Parineeti Chopra starrer Code Name Tiranga. While both Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra’s films are struggling to score decent earnings, Kantara on the other hand has been doing exceptionally well at the box office.

Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri is heading news headlines these days often for courting controversies. He seems to have become an avid user of social media after the release of his superhit film The Kashmir Files. He never shies away to express his thoughts on social media and stands strong against Bollywood mafias. This time Vivek Agnihotri has targeted Ranveer Singh for winning awards despite delivering flop movies.
In the past, the filmmaker has several times attacked Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji, and their latest release Brahmastra. He has always been vocal about the Bollywood gang and criticizing them. In his recent tweet, Vivek Agnihotri indirectly took a dig at Ranveer Singh pointing at the Bollywood Mafia.
He tweeted, “I was shocked to know how the Bollywood awards mafia works. For example, this year one colourful star managed to get all 10+ awards despite both of his films being disasters and rejected by audience. This shows how corrupt and ‘for sale’ is the awards mafia. But Bollywood is silent.” He also responded to his own tweet asking everyone to comment and share their views. He wrote, “Please comment and share your views on Bollywood’s corrupt awards mafia.”
With colourful star, he meant Ranveer Singh, who is vibrant in his fashion style. A user wrote, “I know Bollywood awards are just mockery and Ranveer Singh does not deserve best actor award. Vicky Kaushal deserved it for Sadar Udham, but what has box office performance of a movie got to do with best actor award. Someone may give a good performance in a flop movie.”
Recently Ranveer Singh bagged two awards at the Lions Gold Awards. He won actor of the decade and best actor of the year. He won the award for sports drama 83. This year he also won the Filmfare Best Actor trophy.

Doctor G Box Office Collection: Anubhuti Kashyap’s comedy-drama film Doctor G was released in the theatres on 14th October. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Shefali Shah, and Rakul Preet in the lead roles. Despite opening up to positive reviews the comedy-drama started off slow at the box office, meanwhile now it is expected that the film might wrap up its lifetime collections with 25-30crores only. Despite opening up to positive reviews, Ayushmann Khurrana’s film started off slow at the box office, the film earned a total of ₹3-3.25 crore on its opening day. However, the film saw a growth of 20-30 percent during its first weekend. While Monday witnessed a slow business for the film.
As per the trade reports, it is now believed that Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Doctor G recorded a huge drop on Monday, the film earned somewhere between 1.50-1.75 crores. While on Tuesday the film collected a total of 1.65 crores. The film now stands on a total domestic collection of Rs 18.32crores.

Priyanka says “we are all educated but don’t force me to say things”. To this Nimrit loses her calm and asks Priyanka to talk properly.
Archana And Manya’s Fight
A heated argument breaks out between Archana and Manya over cooking food. Archana states that she does cook food while Manya is only doing drama. Manya further accuses Archana of stealing groceries. Archana gets agitated and warns Manya of slapping her. Priyanka and Tina come out to calm both Archana and Manya.
Archana And Gori Throws Water On Each Other
Both Archana and Gori get into a verbal fight after the latter accuses Archana of throwing an avocado. Archana warns Gori and says that she will slap her. Bigg Boss asks all the housemates to vote for two contestants who according to them is participating and contributing the least to the show. To everyone’s surprise both Shalin and Tina names Sumbul which leaves her in shock as well. While apart from Sumbul other housemates votes for Sajid Khan and Manya Singh.

While during yet another task Gautam, MC Stan, Abdu, and Sajid get the opportunity to choose at least one to two contestants whom they’ll share their rooms with. Gautam chooses Archana, MC Stan chooses Gori Nagori and Shalin, while Sajid and Abdu choose Sumbul and Ankit as their partners. While the rest of the contestants including Nimrit, Priyanka, Tina, and others get the fourth room.
Priyanka And Nimrit Forms A Group

Daniel Craig Receives Same Royal Honour As James Bond
Daniel Craig received a prestigious honour that his iconic character James Bond aka 0007 got in the film. The James Bond actor was made a Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George. Craig received the honour from Princess Royal in the investiture at Windsor Castle in recognition of his outstanding contribution to film and theatre.
The Royal Family’s official Twitter account shared a photo of Daniel receiving his honour, alongside the famous Bond movie line, ‘We’ve been expecting you.’ For the unversed, Daniel starred in the most recent five Bond movies from 2006 before ending his reign in the 2021 movie No Time To Die. While in the film, his character 007 made a famous appearance alongside the Queen in a sketch to mark the opening of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The Order of St Michael and St George is the same gong the famous spy was bestowed in the novels by Ian Fleming. In the book From Russia With Love, a spy chief states that 007 ‘was decorated with the CMG in 1953, an award usually given only on retirement from the Secret Service’. Daniel is being awarded for his services to film and theatre- with the title usually only reserved for senior diplomats.
However, before the release of his final Bond movie No Time To Die last year, Daniel was appointed an honorary Commander by the Royal Navy, another rank held by his character. Daniel has also appeared in Knives Out (2019) alongside Chris Evans, Ana de Armas and Jamie Lee Curtis, and will make a return in the film’s sequel due to premiere at the end of next month.
Knives out sequel is officially titled Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery and will follow the tech billionaire Miles Bron who invites his friends for a getaway on his private Greek island. When someone turns up dead, Detective Benoit Blanc is put on the case. The film is set to hit the theatres on 23 November 2022.
