Varun Dhawan Mentions Cringe VFX In Front Of Adipurush Actress Kriti Sanon

Actress Kriti Sanon is one of the leading actresses in Bollywood today. She was recently praised and recognized for her recent release Mimi and is now gearing up for two mega releases. She will be next seen alongside Varun Dhawan in horror comedy film Bhediya. She has also been hitting the headlines for playing Sita in Om Raut’s Adipurush opposite Baahubali star Prabhas. While the actress is always praised for her gorgeous looks and relatable acting, her film Adipurush is facing backlash from the audience. Netizens are upset with the film’s “cartoonish” VFX. Moreover, the portrayal of Ram, Sita, Hanuman and Ravan has also upset the fans.

Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan, who recently unveiled the trailer of Bhediya talked about cringe VFX in Hindi films. Bhediya, the upcoming horror-comedy film has impressive VFX. During the trailer launch, Varun said, “I have done films where the VFX have been very cringe-worthy. I must have lied and praised it while promoting those films. Definitely. This is human nature. But now when I look back, I can say definitely that there have been cringe-worthy moments in the VFX. But, I haven’t done the VFX (laughs). But I can work with directors and producers who can bring change. So, I feel I have become more responsible in that way.”

As Varun talked about the VFX, Kriti Sanon sat expressionless beside him and gave no reaction. Meanwhile, netizens were quick to compare the VFX quality of Bhediya and Adipurush.

Bhediya will hit the theatres on 25 November 2022. Meanwhile, Adipurush is eying for January 2021 release.

Varun Dhawan Reveals He Has No Punchlines In Horror-Comedy Bhediya

The trailer of Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films’ horror comedy Bhediya is out. The eagerly awaited film stars Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in the lead role. The makers launched the trailer after unveiling first-look posters. In the trailer, Varun is seen restricting himself from turning into a wolf every night. The film is expected to be entertaining and may extend the legacy of Maddock Films’ horror comedy cinematic universe. 

During the trailer launch event, Varun Dhawan revealed what Amar Kaushik asked him to do in the film. Well, the director instructed him not to comedy in the Bhediya despite the film being a horror comedy. The theme of the flick is horror and the dialogue holds a humor element. However, Varun who is known to do comedy films and add his humour to the script was restricted in this Dinesh Vijan film.

Varun said, “Jab hum readings kar rahe the, tab inhone mujhse kahan tha ki aap bilkul comedy nahi karenge. Main unse punchlines maangta rehta tha but unhone kahan tha ki kuch matt kijiye varna log aapko seriously nahi leyenge. (During the reading sessions, I was clearly instructed to not do any comedy onscreen in the film. I used to request filmmaker Amar to give me some punchlines but clearly refused adding that if I do comedy no one will take me seriously in my kind of role.)”

Well, now we know the reason why Amar Kaushik refused to give Varun punchlines. The director had some genuine reasons as his character runs the film. Varun constantly turns a werewolf and delivering punchlines would not suit his character. Kaushik believed people might not take Varun seriously as the character of a werewolf.  

The actor further added, “He has a very high standard of performance. In the past, he has worked with Rajkummar Rao and Ayushmann Khurrana who are very very fine actors. Hopefully, I have lived up to his expectations.”

Bhediya is the third installment of Dinesh Vijan’s cinematic universe. After Stree and Roohi Maddock Films are now all set for Bhediya. Helmed by Amar Kaushik the film is produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films banner. Bhediya will be howling in theaters on 25 November 2022.

Mani Ratnam is one of the ace directors in the film industry. He is currently basking praises for the success of the latest release Ponniyin Selvan 1. The filmmaker has created some great movies in Indian Cinema and has also worked with various superstars from south and Bollywood. However, Mani Ratnam didn’t work with Amitabh Bachchan yet but opened up on a possible collaboration.

Amitabh Bachchan is the Shehnshah of Bollywood even after 80 still active and inspiring. Big B has delivered countless iconic movies in the film industry. Completing more than 5 decades the megastar has worked with several directors and actors irrespective of their age. However, now People are hoping for a Mani Ratnam and Amitabh Bachchan film.  

Talking about the same in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Ratnam asserted even he is hoping for a collaboration. Citing Bachchan’s superstardom career he doesn’t just want to offer any ordinary script to the actor but wishes for something special and great. 

Mani Ratnam said, “I hope I’ll be able to do a film with him sometime. I should have enough meat. He’s done so much and he’s done them so well over all these years that I should have something extra to push him, to drag him. Till then, I don’t have the courage to go and tell him please do this film. If I go to him, I want to have something special that’s when I’ll go.”

Mani Ratnam recently directed Ponniyin Selven which stars Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. For the unversed Big B launched the Hindi teaser of PS 1. Part 1 of the Tamil novel adaptation Ponniyin Selvan was released on 30th September. 

Along with Aishwarya the magnum opus also stars an ensemble cast including Vikram, Jayam Ravi, and Trisha among others. It is an epic period action pan-India film released in multiple languages. Ponniyin Selvan I is an official adaptation of a historical fiction novel in the same name. Helmed by Mani Ratnam the film is produced under the banners of Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions.

Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose seemed to confirm engagement rumours. The singer took to his social media and shared a series of photos together, giving fans a closer look at the diamond ring on that finger. While the musicians didn’t comment on the engagement speculation directly, they hinted in the caption, simply writing, “Happy Autumn.”

Fans took to the comment section and showered congratulatory messages. Rumours were first fueled when fans noticed Firerose was wearing the ring in a September 13 Instagram post that showed her sitting in front of Music Row in Nashville. The singer wrote, “Taking in the moment…”

The speculations came about five months after Tish Cyrus filed for divorce from Billy Ray following nearly three decades of marriage. In her filing, Tish cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their divorce and noted they haven’t lived together since February 2020. Tish and Billy Ray share kids Miley Cyrus, Noah Cyrus, Brandi Cyrus, Trace Cyrus, and Braison Cyrus.

This is the third time one of them has filed for divorce. Their joint statement reads, as per People, “It is after 30 years, five amazing children and a lifetime of memories, we have decided to go our separate ways, not with sadness, but with love in our hearts. We have grown up together, raised a family we can be so proud of, and it is now time to create our own paths.”

They added, “We will always be family and look forward to a continued and loving shared experience as friends and parents.” Tish Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus finished their statement while noting, “We have not come to this decision lightly or quickly but with so much going on in the world, we wanted to provide some clarity and closure, so we can remain focused on what is important. With Love and Hope.”

As for Billy Ray and Firerose, they released their song “New Day” in 2021. They then started appearing on each other’s social media pages more frequently the following year, like in August when Firerose celebrated Billy Ray’s 61st birthday. “The world is a better place with you in it,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “Happy Birthday Billy.”

Mammootty And Jyotika To Lead Jeo Baby’s Next Kaathal: The Core

Malayalam megastar Mammootty has announced the title and released the first look of his upcoming project. He took to social media to announce the movie titled Kaathal: The Core. In the lead the film will also feature Jyotika who will make a return to Malayalam cinema. 

On the occasion of Jyotika’s birthday, the project was announced. The makers shared the first-look poster that shows an old photograph of Mammootty and Jyotika. It looks like an old vintage family picture with many scratches as it has been taken out from the 80’s treasure album. 

Sharing the poster on Twitter, Mammootty wrote, “Here’s unveiling the title of Mammootty Kampany’s next project Directed by Jeo Baby. Kaathal – The Core | @kaathalthecore Wishing a very happy birthday to Jyotika @MKampanyOffl @DQsWayfarerFilm”

Actor Suriya od Soorarai Pottru too shared the poster on his Twitter handle. He wrote, “From day one, this film’s idea & every step taken by Dir JeoBaby & team @MKampanyOffl is so good!! Wishing @mammukka , Jo n team the best for @kaathalthecore. Happy happy birthday Jo!!!”

The film titled Kaathal: The Core is directed by “The Great Indian Kitchen” filmmaker Jeo Baby. Kaathal is produced by Mammootty Kampany, with Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films distributing it. The script of the film is written by Adarsh Sukumaran and Paulson Skaria. The film also stars Lalu Alex, Muthumani, Chinnu Chandni, Sudhi Kozhikode, Anagha Akku, Josi Sijo and Adarsh Sukumaran. 

Kaathal: The Core marks Jyotika’s return to Malayalam films. In 2009 she made a debut with the TK Rajeev Kumar directorial Seetha Kalyanam. The actor has only been seen in dubbed versions of films like Rakkilippattu and Seetha Kalyanam in Malayalam. Hence, this will be her first original Malayalam film.

Camila Cabello recently revealed that she tried a dating app once but had to quit just after 24 hours. During her latest appearance at The Drew Barrymore Show, Cabello opened up about taking the common, modern route in an attempt to find her new flame before receiving a message that led her to delete the app.

Cabello shared, “I was on a dating app for like 24 hours then I left.” While explaining why she quit, the singer said, “Because the first guy that DM’ed me was like an aspiring singer-songwriter from Nashville and I was just like, I feel weird because somebody could be using me. Does that make sense?”

Camila added, “you don’t know their intentions. But even that, I’m like, I don’t even know. When you are just trying to make friends, you’re going to meet guys that are vetted by your friends, which is amazing.” However, Cabello was recently rumoured to be dating Austin Kevitch, co-founder and CEO of the Lox Club dating app. The two were spotted strolling around LA while holding hands in August, three months after it was reported that the pair had mutual friends, and Kevitch asked them to set him up with the Cinderella star.

Elsewhere in her interview with Barrymore, Cabello spoke about working with fellow The Voice coaches Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton. “They’re so adorable. I asked them, ‘What is the key? You know you guys have been together…’ cause they’re so happy and in love… It’s so real,” she said.

She also said, “They’re, like, making out, they’re not making out, but they’re cuddly with each other. And they’re obsessed with each other.” Cabello continued, “What they say about their key to being so happy is that they’re best friends, and they make each other laugh like, they’re laughing all the time. That’s something that’s really important for me.”

The comment didn’t go down with the internet sensation Urfi Javed who has now criticized the actress for being rude. Taking to her Instagram stories Urfi reshared the video and wrote, “Did she just say ‘I hope you double and fall’. Please let’s not be like her, let’s hope all of us only rise. Be it the one behind the camera or in front. People won’t respect you because you’re elder to them or more powerful, they’ll respect you if you’re nice to them.”

In a follow-up story she wrote, “Trust me sometimes I hate it too that I’m so opinionated, I wanna control but dayum this mouth. I know I’m ruining my work opportunities by speaking up but yaar chup nahi raha jata. I feel when you’re quiet on matters that don’t bother you, it shows how entitled you are. Apne ghar paani bijli aati hai, toh jinke ghar nahi aati unke liye hum kyun bole. Yeh wo waali baat lagti hai mujhe! I know all human beings can never be at an equal level but at least we all can get equal opportunities to grow – for that we all need to raise our voices,”

While apart from Urfi many netizens were also seen slamming Jaya Bachchan for her reaction, a user wrote, “She isn’t asking innocent question, she is indeed insulting you guys. Admit it. That’s how rude she is.” another wrote, “Why do you guys even cover her? She is always so rude! Just don’t give her importance.”

There has been much buzz around in the media about Advait Chandan and Aamir Khan not going well together. However, on Tuesday, Laal Singh Chaddha’s director put an end to rumors of a tiff between him and Aamir Khan. Post the debacle of Laal Singh Chaddha rumors claimed that the two have fallen due to the film performing poorly at the box office. 

Reports also suggested that they will not be collaborating again despite Advait being associated with Aamir Khan Productions for nearly 15 years. Well, Advait Chandan took to his Instagram handle to shut down such claims. He uploaded a picture of him and Aamir holding a surfboard. The duo seems ready to ride through the waves. 

Below the picture, Advait captioned, “Guys, for all those talking about a fall out between Aamir sir and me, I just want to say that we are like Genie and Aladin, Baloo and Mowgli, Amar and Prem.” 

Mona Singh who played Aamir’s mom in Laal Singh Chaddha replied to the post commenting four red heart emojis and wrote always. Fans too supported him in the comments sections writing positive comments about the film. One wrote, “A fallout? But you made a great film. It was the public that let LSC down in theatres.” Another user wrote, “LSC was a brilliant film, what a perfect engaging storytelling it was! Keep it up, my favorite combo Pinky & Brain!!! Lots of love from a brazilian fan.”

Laal Singh Chaddha is a Hindi remake of Tom Hanks Forrest Gump. It featured Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and south superstar Naga Chaitanya. Helmed by Advait Chandan the film was bankrolled by Aamir Khan Productions. After a long delay, the film was released in theaters on 11th August 2022 but despite being a holiday and festive time it didn’t perform well. Shows of LSC were pulled down from theaters and the film could barely earn rs 129.64 crore worldwide. 

However, despite failing to make massive business at the box office the film is performing well digitally. The romance drama was released on Netflix weeks back and it was listed as the number 2 non-English film among the top 10 films on the streaming platform globally. As per OTT giant it also became the number 1 to watch on Netflix in India.
