National Cinema Day will be celebrated on 13th October this year. Just like last year, the Multiplex Association of India on 21st September announced that National Cinema Day will be celebrated on the 13th of October, Friday, this year with tickets prices slashed as low as Rs.99.
National Cinema Day 2023: Tickets To Be Sold For Only Rs.99
The prices of the tickets will be slashed to only Rs.99 which will be applicable across India on all 4000+ participating cinema screens, including cinema theatres and chains like PVR, INOX, Cinepolis, Miraj & more. However, the prices will not change for recliners and premium formats like 4DX and IMAX.
Sharing the update the Multiplex Association of India took to their official Twitter account and wrote, “National Cinema Day is back on October 13th. Join us at over 4000+ screens across India for an incredible cinematic experience, with movie tickets priced at just Rs. 99. It’s the perfect day to enjoy your favorite films with friends and family (sic).”

Films like “Thank You For Coming“, “Dono“, “Mission Raniganj“, “Yaatris“, “Guthlee Ladoo“, “Bhagwan Bharose“, and others will be available on the theatres during the National Cinema Day. Apart from them SRK’s “Jawan”, “Fukrey 3”, and “Chandramukhi 2” are also expected enjoy the good sales during the National Cinema Day.
Last year in 2022, 23rd September was observed as National Cinema Day to celebrate the successful reopening of theaters. On this day, movie tickets were priced as low as Rs 75. National Cinema Day saw a large number of people visiting theaters with all shows going houseful.
