Homable Films dropped the teaser of Salaar early this morning and the Internet has gone crazy over it. Salaar teaser is trending at number 1 on YouTube with over 28 Million views in 10 hours. The teaser is also going viral on Twitter and other social media platforms. Needless to say, it is a visual treat for Prabhas’s fans to see him in a full-on action role. However, an intense debate has begun as movie buffs are comparing the films of Prashanth Neel’s multiverse.
Salaar teaser looks very much inspired by KGF franchise. With the intense background music, over-the-top action tease, and putting one dialogue in broken English, Prashanth seems to have put Salaar into the blockbuster template of KGF. The unnecessarily dark theme of the teaser shows Prashanth’s desperate attempt to make it look like a Hollywood film. With the massive fan following of Prabhas, one can’t ignore the positive comments on Salaar teaser but it’s the supremacy of Yash aka Rocky Bhai that wins the day.
The unpopular opinion on the Internet is that “KGF teaser was better than Salaar teaser.”
