Manish Wadhwa, who is currently relishing the success of his recent relead film Gadar 2, received advice from several people to turn down the offer.

Actor Manish Wadhwa, who is currently relishing the success of his recent relead film Gadar 2, received advice from several people to turn down the offer. This was due to the fact that director Anil Sharma and actors Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol are not very active on the market. As the discussion turned to the film’s performance at the box office, Manish expressed that he had a positive intuition about the project’s potential success, but he did not know things will escalate to this level.

In an interview with Bollywood Thikana, Manish Wadhwa discussed his experience of being offered a role in the film “Gadar 2.” He mentioned that when he received the offer, he had a positive feeling about it, anticipating something favorable. However, he also shared that some individuals advised him to wait and not immediately accept the offer. The reasoning behind this advice was that “Gadar 2” was releasing after a gap of 22 years from the original film, and the uncertainty surrounding its reception was a concern. Manish pointed out that the director Anil Sharma, who helmed both films, wasn’t actively participating in the film market at the time. Additionally, he highlighted that the lead actors of the original film, namely Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, hadn’t been prominently involved in recent projects.

In the same interview, the Chandragupta Maurya actor shared that Sunny Deol initially had worries about casting the right actor for the villain’s role in “Gadar 2.” The filmmakers had searched extensively, even in the South Indian film industry, but couldn’t find the perfect fit for the character Hamid Iqbal.

For the unversed, Manish Wadhwa has appeared in several popular television series, including Chanakya, Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev, and Siya Ke Ram. He has also made appearances in films like Panipat (2019), contributing to both Bollywood and television.
