Two much-anticipated South films, Lal Salaam and Eagle were released in theatres on 9th February 2024. Starring Rajinikanth and Ravi Teja both the Tamil and Telugu films opened up to positive reviews from the audience and moviegoers. While Rajinikanth starrer Lal Salaam was hailed as the best “sports drama film”, Ravi Teja’s Eagle has been tagged as the “best action” film. As per the latest reports, both the films will be facing tough competition at the box office, however, Ravi Teja’s film, Eagle will have a slight edge over Rajinikanth’s film, Lal Salaam.

As per sacnilk.com, Rajinikanth starrer Tamil sports drama, Lal Salaam is expected to record a box office opening worth ₹ 4 Cr.
Eagle Box Office Day 1 Prediction
Meanwhile, Ravi Teja’s Telugu action thriller, Eagle is expected to open at ₹ 5.00 Cr, having a slight edge over Rajinikanth’s film.
About Lal Salaam
Directed by Rajinikanth’s daughter, Aishwarya, the Tamil film, Lal Salaam features Rajinikanth in the lead role as “Moideen Bhai”. As per the reports, legendary cricketer Kapil Dev also appears in a cameo role in the film. Apart from them, the film will also feature Vishnu Vishal, Nirosha, Dhanya Balakrishna, Sajjadul Ahamed Riya, and others in significant roles. The Tamil sports drama was released in the theatres on 9th January.

Directed by cinematographer Karthik Gattamneni, Eagle is a Telugu action thriller film. Eagle stars Ravi Teja in the lead role. Apart from him the film also stars Navdeep, Anupama, Kavya, Srinivas Avasarala, and Madhubala in key roles. Praneeta Patnaik, Ajay Ghosh, Srinivas Reddy, Bhasha, Siva Narayana, Mirchi Kiran, Nitin Mehta, Dhruva, Edward, Maddy, Zara, and Akshara will play supporting roles.
