Anupamaa: The Reason Behind Arvind Vaidya’s (aka Bapuji’s) Absence from the Show

Anupamaa actor Arvind Vaidya aka bapuji has said he will return from the US in the first week of July and resume work soon.

In the last several episodes, Anupamaa actor Arvind Vaidya, well known for his portrayal of Bapuji, has been missing. According to reports, he has not been seen on set for almost a month. Now the actor has revealed he is on a family holiday in the US.

Arvind was also not in the track in which the Anupama family bids goodbye to the lead character, played by Rupali Ganguly, as she leaves for the US. His fans were missing him a lot and were worried for him, and now the 82-year-old has said he will return from the US in the first week of July and resume work soon.

Arvind Vaidya informed The Times Of India that his son lives with his family in Atlanta, had applied for leave in January itself, and had booked their tickets. His wife and he left for the US on June 4, and at the time, this track had not been planned. He shot for his episodes and left.

Missing the Anupamaa show and the track going on, he added that he is missing being on the set, especially since there is a crucial track going on with Anupama leaving for the US. But I really couldn’t do anything because this trip was planned well in advance.

Talking about his US tour with the family, Vaidya said that when people got to know that he had to come to visit his son, they invited him for some public functions. He is happy to meet them and is also enjoying time with his family and grandchildren.

He will be back on July 6 and will be back on the set thereafter.
