You must have been seeing viral spotted reels of that one who makes weird strange fashion with her so-called out-of-the-box outfits, Urfi Javed. Urfi Javed was a Big Boss OTT season 1 contestant, and now she is a social media fashion influencer. On Bharti TV’s LOL podcasts she revealed many secrets of her life which you must not miss.
Till date, Urfi has worn many outfits made from crazy things like denim lowers, combs, garbage bags, sim cards, blades, hanger, Bori, photos, smartphones, telephones, chips wrappers, cones, pebbles, shoes and what not. Her bizarre fashion sense has become a hotspot and her income source too. Earlier, her entire set up with a team of 8–10 members was used to work in 1 BHK, and she used to borrow everything on rent, but gradually, her spotted videos went viral, and she got brand collaborations, shoots etc., which is her income source now a and the celebrity has shifted to Lokhandwala few months ago. Watching her terrible fashion, no designers were ready to give her dresses and all but Abu Jaani and Sandeep Khosla were the first who gave her a break in industry.
There is a huge team who designs her outfit; some work at her home, there is a team of embroidery staff, another group of tailors, and all units work at different places. Talking about her terrible fashion sense, she said that clothes give her the kind of confidence that she has never gained because of anything else. She said that when everything around her was bad, she used to get ready and look at herself in the mirror, that made her feel good. She revealed some upcoming costume ideas, which include a big boarding pass, tea bags, pizza, big chains etc. When she was asked what she wears at home, she replied, “Nothing”.
When the host asked about the secret behind her spotted videos, she answered saying, “My PR tells them. I don’t go to Gallis and all. I go to good restaurants.” She goes there, has some food, gets spotted by the media and returns to her place. She said that she loves the media’s attention. If no one comes to a place where she goes, she gets confused and thinks, why would they not come? She knows the names of all the paparazzis.
Some of her outfits made her uncomfortable and were actually painful. But she said, “Fashion is never comfortable and that’s the price you pay for being fashionable.”
